Divine is born in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

Divine guild has been created on the Badlands server on the Destruction side.  Our guild has progressed to rank 6 and we are moving ahead at a good pace.  Its good to see alot of old facing returning to Divine after a string of poor MMO releases.  If you are interested in joining us as a new member, please hit up our forums and get to know us.  If you are a returning member, make sure you get with an officer in game to get your invite.  Current members with invite priviledges are Daggar, Saki, and Valafar.

The Divine Guild Gallery has been launched. Site contributors can now upload images of Divine in action in their respective games. The inaugural gallery has been included, which chronicles the building of Divinity in Age of Conan.

Expect to see much more of Divine in all of our games moving forward.

Age of Conan Update

Divine is still going strong in Age of Conan. Divinity is nearly completed (Tier 1) with all walls and towers. We are ready to move to Tier 2 and have already began to collect materials for Tier 3. Our first group of players are hitting 80 and we should be moving more quickly forward in an effort to obtain one of the first 9 Battlekeeps.

The game itself is finally taking shape and starting to witness some of its potential. The launch of the MMO was relatively smooth and, like most MMO launches, full of bugs and various issues. We will see in weeks to come how Age of Conan meets the challenges of running a PvP MMO. Some of the current big issues are PC performance, PvP balance (stupid OP Tempest of Set), and some typical quest bugs. Moving forward we’ll see how Funcom addresses some of these challenges.

Registration for customers with pre-order keys has now opened.

Registration for customers with pre-order keys has now opened on http://register.ageofconan.com. Registering with a valid pre-order key (such as the Rhino or Mammoth key) is the unique way to be eligible to purchase Early Access for 5€/5$. This fee includes 10 days of game-time as well as the digital download of the client. Hurry though, because the Early Access is only available while supply lasts!

Note that pre-order items such as the Rhino and Mammoth is not available on Early Access accounts. Once an Early Access account is upgraded with the retail key, the virtual item can be claimed. The originally planned level capping of the Early Access has been removed.

The launch date for early access in Europe has been moved forward! Both the US and EU servers open on the 17th of May (5pm GMT). This date used to be the 20th for the EU servers, thus European players are now getting 6 days of early access until the regular launch on May 23rd!

I would like to welcome TheCondemned and his guild XIII into the Divine family. For those not familiar with the XIII clan, XIII was a respected enemy and ally in Archlord (Brumhart Server). TheCondemned has a very prolific background as a great PvP’er and strategist. His knowledge and experience is reflected on how XIII carries itself . We look to move forward with them as part of our family.

Last night introduced us to website version 4.  The website gives a fresh and updated look that more accurately represents Divine and its presence in the MMO market.  The new design also introduces some revenue generating mechanisms to help try and keep the website running strong.  On the right navigation you will find links to donate to both the Ventrilo Server and the Website.  The donations can be made through paypal securely and safely.  Along with the Paypal donation links, you will also find links to upcoming and existing popular MMO titles.  Buying through Amazon.com based on these links not only ensures you get your product delivered from a reputable online retailer, but contributes to the guild.  Amazon gives 4-7% of each purchase back to Divine.

As you’ve probably noticed, there are now quick links to the forum on the left as well as a forum login.  This enables members to travel back and forth from the forum to the other pages seamlessly and  quickly.  This should, hopefully, start getting some participation on the news page here

It looks like Age of Conan will be the next game Divine enters as a guild. As of this post we had upwards of 20 members ready to enter the game and give it a run. Age of Conan is set in the world at the time of Barbarian King Conan’s reign. It features interesting combat features such as siege and guild combat. It also utilizes a hack and slash combat system that reminds me of Oblivion which is a different approach from other MMOs such as WoW or EQ.

Divine Guild’s website is revamped using a new posting engine which should allow greater flexibility and quicker updates.  The website has also been revamped with a newer, sleaker, modern look.  The new site allows posts from individual guild leaders from our different divisions, more page flexibility, and will allow for more frequent updates.  Along with the layout revamp, the forum has been updated to the latest version allowing for better spam prevention, quicker load times, all while being more secure.
