These are a few of my favorite MO things...

- Being able to get into a fist fight and see their head bob back everytime I punch their nose
- Being able to tame wild animals and monsters and then control them to do your bidding.
- Being able to choose the age of my character, their heritage, their background.
- Being able to experiment with crafting with millions of possible combinations. Having to actually think about th best way to craft a weapon or bow. I had to actually read about bowery to get better at it
- Exploring the world through day and night with no compass but your own sense of direction, wits and even astrology.
- Having the ability to snoop into people's pockets after swearing they didn't pick your loot.
- Being able to gather enough gold to buy a house, construct a city, bridges, paths.

There will be compasses and maps. Compasses are crafted and maps will be player made with a cartography skill (last time i knew, its still not in game). Im hoping not player drawn, but i do know there are good artists out there.

Both have to be carried and both will be lost upon death with the rest of your gear, so still learning your surroundings will be necessary.
