tbh i feel ppl i played with more divine members than anyone else on this forum. acting according second hand informations just show hypocrisy and hatred here.
wish u all good luck.
@ kittyIce: no this topic doesn't mean that divine ends. it just means ppl here doesn't want to have anything in common with clan playing L2. end of the clan as u know may come in few days tho.
Sheeez...do we need to flame and etc? This same argument can go both ways. You realize that don't you? I'm not going to go there cause it will tarnish everything for both sides. This is a situation where we just need to move on and let the past be the past.

Re: Lineage2 Divine is no more
Divine is a Guild.. it does not belong to a game. There are many guilds who name their guild Divine, but there is only one true Divine, and that is the family housed here at this site and on our vent server.
Thank you to all the leaders that have served Divine over the past years. My start with this clan, and the birth of this website, was born from Lineage II. It was hard to do what I did today, removing the forums that I called my home for so long. I did so, however, knowing that I did so defending the guild which is my online home.
I would like to say one thing about this back and forth which has transpired on this thread. Namely, "changing with the times."
There is no such thing.
The Creed is absolute. It is what makes us Divine. We don't "change" to be the best guild. We don't "change" to get more members. We don't "change" because of a merger or alliance. The very reason we are who we are is because we uphold the creed in our games. We believe in family, both online and off. We believe in honor and playing games with respect and dignity. We believe in fair play as the game was meant to be played.
I never, ever, want to see someone try and defend behavior out of line with the creed with an excuse of "changing with the times." The creed is our constitution. If you disagree with it, then lobby to get it changed through the appropriate channels. We have public member forums, we have private messages, we have ventrillo. It is not within the powers of any individual guild leader to override the creed. The creed belongs to the guild, and the guild does not belong to a game.

I second all the above. That is and has always been my conviction. It is what separates us apart from the rest who play ANY MMO. My start here has also been with Lineage II. With that said I would like to give special thanks to Sci, Dave, MarrenStar, Eccleasisas, Pink Squad, FG, Ani, Tatsuki-Gen, Krow, Ivy, Crusci, PrincessOfice, Kurina, Winksie, papanef, Whisper, Occido, Breuenor, Evintine, Alexiell..., in no particular order of importance...., in my opinion each and every one of the family contributed to the family in there own unique way to the whole. There are many more to name I am sure. And of course to our beloved board admin, Daggar, and the leader of all leaders: Sinisterz. And all members, and leaders alike in other games who proudly fly the famous "D". We shall not waver, the creed is absolute, we are one.
I look forward with great earnest to the next MMO/game we shall bring this ideal too.
It has been an honor to have served alongside with you guys all.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Bel. S&H.

I'll never forget the day we blocked the entrance to Cruma tower and had gank teams purging the tower of gold farmers...

Re: Lineage2 Divine is no more
I've had so many great times in Lineage 2. And that is due solely to all the people I've met while in Divine foes and allies alike. I've never regretted or thought the grass was greener on the other side because we've always had such great personalities to chat and hang out with regardless what was happening ingame.
In the last 5 years, like all good things, there have been ups and downs and I think every Divine leader did an amazing job (although Mawar kicking everyone out of Phalanx right before defending our first castle wasn't such a smart move lol. But he's a midget, so cut him so slack). My first memories of Sinisterz, Mawar, Xyvyk were great time's in prelude/C1 fighting the farmers and Blizzard clans and taking the first castle was historic. As well as the Orfen and Ant Queen, Core raids. And the infamous locking down Cruma Tower will always be the one and only across all servers. I will always remember Enyo for the optimism and laughter she gave me even when she was in pain herself (I will always remember you Enyo).

From C2 on, we held steady under the leadership of Krowv and then with Randall, Narem, MyIvy, Dureal also coming into thier own and stepping up to help. These were insane times with Mafia and working with Epoch and Redplanet in killing Antharas (sorry but I just can't give Core credit for attending ). The teamwork it took to win dusk 2x vs the server was an amazing feeling.

Then came the cross server tourney. I think by far one the most original and best executed ideas as well as fun. While we didn't get into the finals (the bartz crew was amazingly good and I think they cheated with +++ ng weapons =D), it was a very fun attempt and nerve racking as well.
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/beckfunk/DivineHistory.jpg
We had a uphill battle with NoQuarter/Redemption but it was a fun fight regardless =). Afterwards Sciblade came into leadership to steer Divine through more chronicles and expansions where the server had turned away from players vs farmer/bots and into a different direction.
With server merges, new challenges and faces came. Soon after Divine and ImmortalNights joined forces and old friends/enemies joined under a single cause. Karigan and Sciblade steered Divine through changes that occured almost daily it seemed as times.
With the advent of Nova, came almost the final nail in the coffin for legit players (although many would say it was already dead long before).
Anyways, these 5 years (off and on) for me in Divine's L2 was something that I will never forget. It may sound cheesy to say, but it changed my life (good or bad hehe). I only want to thank everyone that I have every played with and chatted with for making it such a great time for me.
Thank You:

Being at war with divine for about 4 years and being with yall for a few months I gotta say much respect.
L2 wasnt ment to be a fair game. But you were the closest there was to being legit on our server. I´d laugh at the larping idiots who probably know nothing about l2, but I come only to wish you all luck and not to flame morons who dont even play l2.
kisses<3
and thanks for all the pvp with and against you

I can't belive it....Winter u forget Christa,reniesta, mapuko and Fedayin (ak MarieAngelique) x.x
LII-Divine was the last firt plan legit alliance. I realy enjoyed my 8 month in divine. We got hard time (like the lose of Rune castle), great time like (like our first sucess with tiat RB) and funny time (like when stum lose his "wee wee" in game^^). Divine was for me 2 year of xping with they before i joined. I remember when Ani4k & Amurra invite my elemental summoner in rift, I remember my first TOI 11 with divine when i was a liltle lvl 51 BD and some duo in the first floor of TOI with dare (when he was a baby chciken)
I wish only 1 things, it's to didn't join Divine earlier

That first screenshot is absolutely awesome.
There were a ton of cool people in divine and although I left divine a while back , Im totally thankful I did join when I did. Pretty good memories , but nothing beats the old Antharas Lair/Toi crew , nothing like exping for hours just laughing till your face hurts for 2 years straight.
Dave , Rob , Kelly , Vorlac - Some of the best people I have ever met in game and out.
Btw dave i never really said thanks for always helping me out , even buying me wow and helping with RL stuff , i kinda took off quick and didnt look back . But thanks for everything , you are a great friend.

Re: Lineage2 Divine is no more
I respect the PPL in L2 more then any others, simply because they stand against time. It's easy to call yourself a Divine, go to a new game with the hype, mass recruit early coz everyone excited, then boom 6 montsh go by and everyone goes to a new game and these ppl think they honor a creed. Thats so funny, and hypocrit, only a handful of ppl as proved this creed longterm to really deserve that honor. Isnt that what honor stands for? to have actually earned it? And Belnor, wow dude, u were in divine only like 2 months and got busy with RL school etc, how dare u insult Divine, and call yourself one, and flash your numbers. I happen to work in your industry and what u did was AVERAGE. Dont flash me numbers thinking u earned any respect, coz yea on WALL STREET ppl are all flash in the pans, max life span 3 years. Playing a game while every thing is good doesnt prove anything, its still standing up when times are tough and to get it going again. So if you really wanna talk about your creed, prove it overtime... NOT just flashing ideas overnight and when it gets tough reroll. THATS PLAIN HYPOCRITE.
With that said, Divine in Lineage 2 by far was your best example of S&H, dont care what any1 else says. RESPECT AND HONOR is earned over time
and withstands time.

Re: Lineage2 Divine is no more
I have been in Divine during two different times. One was when myself, Drekkonis and Arthos joined along with people such as MarrenStar and countless other names that I cannot list due to my bad memory. I was part of most of the things you have listed, most memorable the first successful Antharas raid in Hindemith and countless battles with MAFIA and TOI bots inlove and such names; only leaving Divine and L2 altogether because of boredom and needing to focus on school....lots of good times during those old Divine days. OFC lots of things happened in between the two times I was in Divine, like me joining Redemption (because alot of my friends were there); getting to meet people who soon thereafter created Imperivm clan that, in time, became part of the Divine alliance. Divine even with all the joys and disappointments have had a great run and will always be remembered. I have had alot of interesting times being in this guild and pvping against it and I would like to thank all of the members who have made staying in Divine and pvping against it worthwhile especially its older members.

BTW in case the 'leaders' forgot check this out
The Creed of the Divine
[*]Discipline
I will follow my clan leadership’s orders to the best of my ability. I recognize at times the needs of the clan may not always coincide with my own and I must make sacrafices of myself for the good of the clan.
Brotherhood
I will never strike a clan brother in an aggressive manner. If a clan brother calls I will heed the call and come to their aide. I will never turn my back on a brother in need. I will treat my brothers with the utmost respect and will sacrafice of myself to defend their honor if neccessary.
Duty
I will answer the call of duty in times of war and in times of peace. I will sacrafice my time and if necessary, my own desires to serve the clan. I will contribute in any way possible to strengthen the clan, through materials, currency, or time. I recognize that as a part of this family certain duties will be required of me from time to time and may come in many forms. I recognize that by helping the clan I am investing in a better future for myself as part of Divine.
Respect
I realize my every action is a reflection on the clan. Every word said is from the mouth of the clan. I take this responsibility seriously and will never abuse this priviledge. I will speak respectfully at all times and toward all players. I will respect my guild, my allies, and equally my enemies. Strength can be made, honor must be earned.
Loyalty
I am a member of a family that trusts and relies on me. I will try my best to do whatever I can not to disappoint them. I will never betray my clans trust by stealing, sabatoging, or breaking my oath. As such, I realize I am surrounded by family members which I will trust and in turn can rely upon for my times of need.[*]
Anyways, if you really wanna honor this, let this thread rest in peace, and like krow said, we should look at the future, and not judge others, and appreciate their past efforts.
